Bog

Bog is a Doom/Death Metal Band started by friends Justin, Robby and Mitch.

Bog started off playing house shows and local venues around Cincinnati. Now, they are performing for local booking agencies in Cincinnati, as well as the surrounding area, and occasionally a nearby city!

Bog formed in December of 2019 and played their first gig in February of 2020. They originally started as a 4-piece ensemble, with 2 guitarists, but they quickly settled on a 3-piece setup, with a single guitarist.

They released their first EP, Swamp Witch, on April 20th of 2021. It's more representative of their Stoner Metal roots, than their newer, more Death Metal driven sound is.

They have always taken heavy influence from Doom, Groove and Sludge metal such as Eyehategod, Windhand, Corrosion of Conformity and Pantera. As they've been writing their newest album, they have begun to take additional influence from Death Metal and Power Violence.

In May of 2022, they got the opportunity to perform live with Eyehategod, one of their biggest influences and sources of inspiration.

Bog is on hiatus as of December 2022.
